PHLIEXX LAKE

PHELIXX LAKE is my metalcore project, which I launched in October 2022 with the debut single Recovery. That track was a personal response to losing fake friends while trying to grow, and it set the tone for what I wanted this project to be—honest, aggressive, and emotionally charged. I’ve always been drawn to blending heavy guitar riffs and gritty basslines with electronic textures and anthemic vocals. That mix got Recovery onto over 50 Spotify playlists, including All New Metal and Metal UK. After moving to Kansas City, I kept pushing forward with tracks like Echo, which explored isolation and identity, and Infrared, released through Ghost Killer Entertainment, which brought in atmospheric layers alongside heavy breakdowns.

In 2023, I dropped Trapped through Scene Daddy, a track that pushed further into post-hardcore territory with help from Joel Dickson. It balanced melodic and harsh vocals with intense instrumentation, and it felt like a real turning point. Influenced by bands like Senses Fail, A Day to Remember, and I Prevail, I’m building on the sound I grew up with while making something that feels personal. Songs like Healing and Turning Point show that side—mixing vulnerability with aggression, introspection with impact. I handle vocals, production, and instrumentation myself, but I also collaborate with artists around the world to keep the sound evolving. For me, PHELIXX LAKE is about facing anxiety, heartbreak, and societal pressure head-on—and turning that chaos into something cathartic.
